Meet the Team

  • Laura Tyson

    DIRECTOR

    Laura’s background is within Acrobatic Gymnastics as a high-level athlete and coach. She proudly represented Australia at two Junior World Championships and was a member of the Australian National Team for four years. Moving into coaching, she served as a QLD State Team Coach, guiding multiple athletes to consecutive State Team selections.

    Beyond the gym floor, Laura built her career in Sports Management—overseeing sports programs, building teams and managing operations for large non-for-profit clubs.

    In 2024, she returned to teaching within the dance industry, specialising in dance acrobatics. Laura’s greatest passion is helping everyday athletes achieve skills they never thought possible, all within a supportive and positive environment.

    She holds full a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), police check, first aid and CPR certification, dance insurance, and teaching qualifications with the relevant governing bodies.

  • Liam Rousseau

    PRIVATE LESSON COACH & WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

    Liam is a former Australian Acrobatic Gymnast who has represented Australia on the world stage at multiple World Championships and World Cup events. In 2017, he made history as part of Australia’s first Men’s Four group to compete at the World Games.

    Following his competitive career, Liam transitioned into coaching. His experience includes leading athletes to success at major events, including the World Cup in Portugal.

    As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Liam combines his elite acrobatic background with scientific training principles that enhance performance and support athlete longevity.

    Recognised for his infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm, Liam brings professionalism, precision, and positivity to every session.

    He holds a Working With Children Check (WWCC), First Aid and CPR certification, insurance, and is a registered member of Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

  • Karsa Collins

    PRIVATE LESSON COACH & WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

    Karsa brings extensive experience as a former national-level athlete in women’s artistic gymnastics, tumbling, and acrobatic gymnastics. Her genuine care for younger athletes naturally led her into coaching, where she discovered a deep passion for mentoring and helping students reach their full potential in a positive, encouraging environment.

    Outside the gym, Karsa is a qualified midwife, a background that enhances her coaching with exceptional empathy, patience, and attention to individual wellbeing.

    She is fully accredited with a Working With Children Check (WWCC), national police check, First Aid and CPR certification, and dance insurance. Karsa also holds teaching qualifications with the relevant governing bodies, ensuring her coaching meets the highest professional and safety standards.

  • SARINA SITSKY

    SARINA SITSKY

    PRIVATE LESSON COACH & WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

    Sarina is an ex-acrobatic gymnast and accomplished coach with an impressive background across both gymnastics and dance. As an athlete, she achieved outstanding results, winning multiple state titles and representing her clubs at the highest competitive levels.

    Now an Advanced Level Coach and State Team Coach, Sarina brings a wealth of technical knowledge and a deep understanding of athlete development. Her bubbly, enthusiastic nature makes her sessions engaging and enjoyable, while her high coaching standards ensure athletes are constantly challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

    Outside the gym, Sarina holds a Bachelor of Psychology and is currently completing her Honours thesis on “What Motivates Individuals to Engage in Exercise.” Her academic insight adds a unique dimension to her coaching, allowing her to support athletes not only physically but also mentally.

    Sarina holds current First Aid and CPR certification, a Blue Card (Working With Children Check), police check and dance insurance, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism in every session.
