Meet the Team

  • Laura Tyson

    DIRECTOR

Laura’s background in Acrobatic Gymnastics includes both high-level competition and coaching. She proudly represented Australia at two Junior World Championships and was a member of the Australian National Team for four years. Moving into coaching, she served as a QLD State Team Coach, guiding multiple athletes to consecutive State Team selections.

Beyond the gym floor, Laura built her career in Sports Management—overseeing sports programs, building teams and managing operations for large non-for-profit clubs.

In 2024, she returned to teaching within the dance industry, specialising in dance acrobatics. Laura’s greatest passion is helping everyday athletes achieve skills they never thought possible, all within a supportive and positive environment.

She holds full accreditation, including a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), police clearance, first aid and CPR certification, dance insurance, and teaching qualifications with the relevant governing bodies.

  • Karsa Collins

PRIVATE LESSON COACH & WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Karsa has spent many years competing at a national level in women’s gymnastics, tumbling, and acrobatic gymnastics. Her natural care for younger athletes quickly drew her into coaching, where she discovered her passion for teaching —sharing her knowledge and helping others grow in a positive, supportive environment.

Beyond the gym, Karsa is also a fully qualified midwife, bringing a unique level of care, patience, and understanding to her coaching.

She is fully accredited with a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), police check, first aid and CPR, insurance through AE, and holds teaching qualifications with the relevant bodies.

  • Liam Rousseau

PRIVATE LESSON COACH & WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Liam is a former Australian Acrobatic Gymnast who proudly represented the nation at both World Championships and World Cup events. In 2017, he made history as part of Australia’s first men’s four group to compete at the World Games. After retiring from competition, Liam transitioned into coaching, working internationally and even leading one of his groups to compete at a World Cup in Portugal.

As an accredited Exercise Physiologist, Liam designs tailored rehabilitation and strength programs to support his athletes’ recovery and maximise performance. Known for his big laugh and welcoming energy, he brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every training session.

Liam holds a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), first aid and CPR, insurance under AE, and membership with Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
